DIE ZEIT Former German Border
A peculiar memory of communist times can still be seen in the small village of Mödlareuth at the former inner German border where the East German authorities had built a wall similarly to that in Berlin but only a few meters long in total. Today it is a museum, fortunately. Published in the German weekly DIE ZEIT.
